Bioinformatics Platform of Orsay
The eBio bioinformatics platform, created in December 2009, is at the heart of the bioinformatics system of the University of Paris-Sud
Expertise
The eBIO platform performs all NGS analyses (mapping, de novo assembly and resequencing, identification of polymorphisms, SELEX data analysis, ribosome profiling, metagenomics). Its specialisation is RNA-Seq (differential expression of genes and identification of new genes).
The platform offers access to its resources (databases, software tools) developed by university research teams.
Equipments
- Computing resources : 208-core cluster (including a node with 750Gb of RAm).
