Combining phenotype μCT imaging and genome skimming for high throughput biodiversitydiscovery: application to springtails

We aim to demonstrate the feasibility and the potential of COMBINED phenotype μCT imaging and genome skimming for high¬ throughput biodiversity discovery in a microarthropod group.We plan to first carry out the μCT imaging for a total of 1200 specimens in order to obtain the external and internal digital morphology, before extracting DNA and carrying out a genome skimming that will allow to group the specimens per discrete entities corresponding potentially to new species.
